The series of postures creates a deep meditation in movement and allows the body to focus on each posture as your practice progresses. The yoga postures are performed in a heated room to help you release toxins and systematically work every gland and muscle of the body. This practice is ideal for all levels, from newbies to the most advanced yogis. This class will open your body and mind to new health possibilities. Classes are available in 60-minute and 90-minute formats. The room is heated to approximately 100 to 110 degrees with 20-30% humidity. No prior experience required.
Slow Vin/Yin »
This practice is 1/2 Vinyasa, 1/2 Yin yoga and will be in a warm room. It will begin with a slower paced, meditative, Vinyasa flow. In the Vinyasa sequences (the yang aspect or solar) you will direct your focus inward taking your time to feel yourself internally aligning and "marinating" in the release of prana. Through slower, mindful, fluid movements you begin releasing rigidity and reconnecting to your own innate fluidity. As we delve into a deeper level of awareness we will take our practice down to the floor for a yin practice, (the lunar aspect) targeting the connective tissue of the hip, pelvis and lower spine. We will also work on opening and releasing tension in the shoulders. By balancing the solar and the lunar - strength and receptivity - you will find clarity, wholeness and deep peace. Some yoga experience recommended.
Inversions Infinity Flow »
Infinity is a concept in many fields, most predominantly mathematics and physics, that refers to a quantity or quality without bound or end. Deriving from the Latin word infinitas or "unboundedness". A perfect circle is a beautiful example of infinity, having no beginning, no end, and a smooth unbound continuity. We can see circles naturally in the sun/moon circling our round earth every day, and we can relate and resonate these concepts in to our yoga practices to find ease gliding our bodies in to more challenging inversions and arm balances! This class is designed to draw you in to feeling an infinite connectivity to your bodies, your asana practice, and Moma Earth. Cleansing breath work will be fused with stamina and strengthening techniques to build confidence in your abilities to get in to yoga postures that flip your world upside down! Come discover the unbound joy of growing an inversion practice, being lead through an energizing while restorative asana flow. A Sunday practice bringing synchronicity to the end of one week and the beginning of the next. All levels are welcome!

Yin Yoga »
Yin Yoga has the same goals and objectives as any other school of yoga; however, it directs the stimulation beyond the muscular ("yang") tissues, and instead targets the connective ("yin") tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. All levels welcome. 60 minutes.

Yin/Yang Yoga »
Yen Yin/Yang Yoga begins slowly, on the floor, accessing the pranic energy at the hips, pelvis and base of the spine. Through pranayama (breath) and asana (posture), we begin accessing the kundalini, or dynamic upward impulse, to remove energetic blocks that impede its flow. The yin approach is opposite of yang; rather than using muscular tension to go further, we first release deeply, using gentle but firm compression of the joints, relaxing whatever holds us back. In Yin Yoga, postures are often supported (using props like blocks and blankets to cradle the body) and held for longer periods of time. The long holds target the connective tissue, thus stimulating joint lubrication and bone density, and increasing the resting length of muscle spindles. After the lower body is opened, we proceed to a vinyasa flow, which may include solar and lunar salutations, standing asanas, arm balances and inversions. Finally, we return back down to the floor to revisit the yin body and absorb the centered stillness of yoga. Yen Yin/Yang is very much needed to counterbalance the body's habitual tendencies, and is especially effective in enhancing yang methods of yogadynamic and muscular styles that emphasize internal heat, power and contraction. Beginner to intermediate level.
