New YYF Community Classes-Pay What You Can

Every Saturday 10am

Each Saturday at 10am YYF will hosst Community Classes. The studio's philosophy is to offer classes that are accessible and affordable to the entire community. These classes will be pay-what-you-can and will vary. All proceeds go directly to the instructor.

FREE Trial Class: HIIT 40 with Sebastian Garbsch and Josh Concannon

High Intensity Interval Training or HIIT is a 40 minute strength training circuit class that targets all major muscle groups, and incorporates high intensity intervals to get your heart rate up thru calisthenics. The benefits of a HIIT class are increased strength and metabolism, as well as improving cardiovascular fitness and reducing total body fat. The class is suitable for intermediate and advanced students. Sebastian and Josh will lead students thru each exercise to ensure proper form and technique; the class will incorporate dumbbells, kettlebells and bands.

Saturday May 19th at 8:00-9:15am with Autumn and Terri

Set your yoga foundation. Explore and experience the yoga basics: grounding and rooting, moving and flowing, bending and twisting, inhaling and exhaling, resting and meditating. A new awareness awaits you. Suitable for all levels. Adjustments and aromatherapy may be provided.

Join Shannon and Lisa for a fun and powerful warrior flow! In this75 minute vinyasa-based class we will ignite our core and strengthen ourlegs moving through an energizing flow sequence, balancing postures andfinishing with a relaxing yin-style floor series. We will explore thewarrior poses in an upbeat, fun environment that will leave you feelingstrong and refreshed!

Sunday May 20th 8:00-9:30am with Amy, Leslie, and Naomi

A 90 minute class based on Shiva, the Lord of Yogis who is both the Revealer and Creator.  He is responsible for creating new paths that lead to renewal and restoration of vital pranic energy.  This class will focus on mind, body, breath and movement and  will include a series of postures that will create strength, balance and stability.  This class will move through Sun Salutations, standing and seated postures, gentle backbends and calming forward folds.    This practice is suitable for all levels and aromatherapy and adjustments of postures may be provided.  The room will be slightly warmed.
