Donation December to benefit Safe Harbor of Grand Traverse

Food, Shelter….& Hope

The yoga mat has become such a special place to many of us.

It’s a place of stillness, respite, healing and growth.

And though the physical mat is small, the infinite resources it holds are what keep us coming back.

For the month of December, the Yen Yoga community is rolling out their mats in honor of all the good things we receive from our yoga practice … but with a twist.

Every Community Sangha class you take at Yen, you will have the opportunity to donate to a special place to our wider community: Safe Harbor.

Dedicated to the preservation of the physical health and spiritual welfare of adults experiencing homelessness, the primary goal of Safe Harbor is to offer food, shelter and hope for its guests.

As a non-profit, volunteer-run seasonal emergency shelter and a year-round housing and human services resource center, Safe Harbor is a place many call home.

Our mats are a priceless safe harbor for many of us. For the month of December, let’s extend that gift by rolling out a generous donation to another, equally precious Safe Harbor.

Sponsor the shelter for $50/day or sponsor that a single bed for $250/season. Click here to donate to Safe Harbor.
